Humans rely on pollination of plants by insects for many types of food, but human activities threaten both pollinators and plants with extinction.
In this Science Café I’ll talk about some of the problems facing pollinators and introduce you to some of the past, ongoing and future work on pollinators at the University of Bristol.
I’ll bring some “show and tells” too, collections of pollinators from the Bristol area along with a live bumblebee colony.
